Members will be receiving an email invitation on October 18, 2023 to participate in a voluntary questionnaire where you will submit personal information for our upcoming Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) Special Program. The data collected will support our special program that is under development in compliance with the BC Human Rights Commission. This program is designed to facilitate access to employment and training opportunities from traditionally underrepresented groups and aligned with our Sideletter 17 bargaining commitments. The information collected will help our Local address underrepresentation and/or barriers in the industry and provide meaningful employment opportunities to members.
Please note—the collection of information is voluntary and is vital for our Local to meet our contractual obligations and to make our jurisdiction a more attractive place to film.
Considering the personal nature of the data collected, we have created safeguards to ensure the integrity of the program as well as preserving your personal data. All REDI data will be collected, encrypted, and safely stored in our SQL Server database in accordance with privacy law.
