Across all industries, slips, trips, and falls are the costliest workplace incidents and some of the biggest causes for general productivity loss. For the arts and entertainment industry this can commonly occur when following action or moving around the set, location, or stage. Slips, trips, and falls can happen anytime for a variety of reasons including environmental conditions, housekeeping, or improper footwear.

This session focuses on the hazards that are typical for the arts and entertainment industry and how employers and workers can work together to reduce these hazards and create a safer workplace. An updated Slips, Trips and Falls Toolbox Talk is included to guide workers and supervisors on appropriate controls for general hazards pertaining to slips, trips and falls.
